- Cherry Blossom Variety: This year, the variety planted is called "Fortune Comes," which is heat-resistant and has dense blossoms, making it suitable for Hong Kong's climate.
- Blooming Period: The cherry blossoms are expected to bloom from mid-February to mid-March, with two different blooming phases, allowing for nearly a month of cherry blossom viewing. The first batch has already started blooming, while the second batch is expected to bloom in mid-March.
- Opening Hours: The cherry blossom garden is open daily until 8 PM, featuring night cherry blossom lighting for visitors to enjoy the beauty of the blossoms at night.
Transportation
- Walking: From Tung Chung MTR Station Exit B, it's about a 15-minute walk to the cherry blossom garden. The route passes by the Ngong Ping Cable Car station and follows South Lantau Road.
- Bus: You can take Lantau Island bus routes (such as S1, S52, etc.) and get off at the Aircraft Fuel Depot stop, then walk to the cherry blossom garden.
