Kumamon, the mascot from Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan, is back to continue the running excitement in May — the ASICS Kumamon Run 2025 HK is coming! Sponsored by ASICS Hong Kong and organized by Joyous Events, the "ASICS Kumamon Run 2025 HK" will take place at Science Park in Sha Tin on Sunday, May 11, 2025. The event will feature distances of 8 kilometers, 3 kilometers, and 1 kilometer, with individual, duo, and parent-child categories. Each participant will receive a striking Kumamon-themed runner's package, and this year’s top runners will have a chance to win fabulous gifts from ASICS Hong Kong! There will be a carnival area with plenty of Kumamon-themed photo spots and boutique items. Registration opens on March 28, and early birds will receive limited edition gifts! Are the runners and fans ready to meet Kumamon?!

Kick-off on May 11! The carnival area will feature a large Kumamon-themed photo spot and exclusive boutique pop-ups.

The ASICS Kumamon Run 2025 HK will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2025. The event includes a competitive 8km category, a more experiential 3km category, and a leisurely family-friendly 1km category. Each category will have individual groups, with the 3km and 1km categories also featuring duo teams and parent-child groups. Every participant will receive a limited edition Kumamon-themed runner's package, which includes a runner's T-shirt, towel, multifunctional shoe bag, race number bib, and more. Upon completion of the race, participants will receive a Kumamon Run 2025 limited finishers' medal and an electronic certificate! This year's design is filled with Hong Kong elements, incorporating the silhouettes of iconic Hong Kong skyscrapers into the Kumamon design, with purple as the theme color—super eye-catching! For Kumamon fans in Hong Kong, this is a must-have to complete the collection!
